The Christian Science Monitor has a good piece on fair elections. America is a longstanding democracy and advocates its use through sending observers to foreign elections (excellent) and through the acclaimed nation building process (patent pending). But newer democracies - like Japan, Brazil and India - have surpassed them in organizing fair elections. Their people know that their vote counts. Americans are not so lucky. So for reliable voting results, look abroad.
